This is a Full-time position in Sherbrooke, QC posted August 22, 2017.

*Hawkesbury, ON. – For candidates open to relocating.

General Summary : Day-to-day management of of people, materials, equipment, and plans on the job site.

Tasks:

  • Delegate tasks the team (employees and sub-trades)
  • Ensure daily communication with the other members of the team (Project Manager, Planner, Accounting and Dispatch) to track project performance and confirm the job site has what it needs
  • Make sure the project is in accordance with the estimate and plan (budget, time and specifications)
  • Accurately fulfill required paperwork
  • Create and promote a safe job site
  • Be willing to work long hours as needed

  • Professional English level is required, bilingualism is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as Foreman
  • Experience in excavation
  • Sucessfull work experience in stressful work related situations, in working with different people and in motivating and disciplining a team
  • Able to work with project plans (read and able to anticipate and plan project/site needs)
  • Strong knowledge of H&S Building Suppliesย 
  • Must know how to read a laser
  • Excellent communicator (providing the team with constructive feedback, having tough conversations when needed…)
  • Good team leader – able to build positive respectfull relationships with team members
