Assistant Manager

This is a Full-time position in Sherbrooke, QC posted September 13, 2018.

Under the supervision of the manager, the assistant manager’s function is to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant, maintain a positive working environment, enhance the work of employees and ensure the profitability of the restaurant.

Main responsibilities

Oversees the operation, profitability and management of the restaurant;
Oversees the uniform application of Benny & Co.’s policies and procedures by its staff (operations, quality of goods and presentation, customer service, health and safety, preventive maintenance, etc.);
Responsible for the hiring, welcoming, integration, training, evaluation and management of restaurant personnel;
Coordinates, assigns, performs evaluations and follows up on the kitchen staff training plans;
Ensures the maintenance of a harmonious work environment and effective team collaboration;
Establishes staff work schedulesEnsures client satisfaction;
Ensures the timely treatment of customer complaints and informs the manager immediately;
Carries out orders to suppliers and may be mandated by the manager to take inventory of the restaurant;
Oversees the implementation of building maintenance programs and preventive maintenance of equipment.
