Manager/Restaurant Director

This is a Full-time position in Sherbrooke, QC posted September 13, 2018.

Under the supervision of the CEO and / or territory Supervisor, the manager / restaurant director’s function is to ensure proper operation of the restaurant as well as maintain a positive working environment and ensuring the profitability of the restaurant.

MAIN responsabilitIEs

Oversees the operation, profitability and management of the restaurant

Analyzes the restaurant profits and proposes solutions to increase them

Ensures the adherence and application of Benny & Co.’s operating standards as well as to recipes

Oversees the uniform application of Benny & Co.’s policies and procedures by its staff with respect to cooking operations, quality of goods and presentation, customer service, health and safety, preventive maintenance, etc.

Responsible for the welcoming, integration and training of new employee as well as monitoring training plans

Coordinates, assigns, coaches, monitors and evaluates the work of staff in the restaurant

Ensures the maintenance of a harmonious work environment and effective team collaboration

Establishes staff work schedules

Informs the immediate supervisor of any major irregularity in the restaurant and makes recommendations to correct the situation

Ensures customer satisfaction

Coordinates local sponsorship requests

Ensures timely processing of customer complaints

Places product orders

Oversees the implementation of building maintenance programs and preventive maintenance of equipment

Kitchen experience within the roast chicken industry is an advantage

Experience in supervising a work team

Knowledge of human resources management

Knowledge of cash system an asset
