This is a 12-month position with a great possibility of renewal or permanence. This position offers a hybrid schedule, 2 days in the office and 3 days teleworking.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Clerk’s primary responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and process various purchase and payment requests
  • Participate in the preparation and follow-up of annual budgets, document the required justifications, produce monthly projections, analyze them, ensure the accuracy of the coding and explain the variances
  • Write, correct, and format various reports, documents, tables, and internal & external correspondence for the various department heads
  • Support the management of commercial contracts
  • Master the work tools of the group and act as a resource person for support

Profile

Here is a summary of the profile of the person who will occupy the Accounting Clerk position:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • DEP or DEC in accounting
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Very good oral and written English and good knowledge of French
  • Good knowledge of the following software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Windows), SAP (Strong asset)

Human Skills:

  • Positive attitude, autonomous and a good sense of resourcefulness
  • Ability to juggle priorities
  • Very good sense of organization, rigor, and attention to detail

 

Schedule: Permanent job, 37.5 hours per day
