Customer Service – Technical Specialist/Tax Analyst (Remote, bilingual)

Our Support Center is currently looking for a Tax Support Specialist. A true jack-of-all-trades, the successful candidate will be called upon to answer our clients’ tax questions regarding our personal, corporate and trust tax products, and our forms products.

SUMMARY

You will have to answer our clients’ tax questions regarding our Taxprep, Cantax, iFirm Tax software, as well as our CCH Accountant Suite products. You will act as a resource person for a product and will be called upon to provide training to your colleagues.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to incoming emails and calls, support the instant messaging, in French and in English, analyze and solve tax calculation problems for Cantax, Taxprep and iFirm Tax products (T1, T2, T3 and forms) and for problems related to content of AliForm, CCH Practice, CCH Profit Driver, CCH Engagement, FP Solutions and iFirm products.
  • Document all interactions with customers and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Refer complex situations to internal stakeholders and ensure follow-up.
  • Act as a resource person for one of our products.
  • Communicate customer needs and improvement requests to the appropriate people.
  • Perform tests on the versions in development.
  • Ensure the continuous updating and deepening of his tax knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, accounting option or equivalent, and two years of experience in professional preparation of personal and/or corporate income tax returns.
  • French=English bilingualism orally and in writing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret tax laws.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Versatility.
  • Ease with technologies in general and with the MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work in a team and interest in continuing education.
  • Punctuality and adherence to schedules.
  • Availability to work overtime during personal tax season.

ASSETS:

  • CPA or Master’s degree in taxation.
  • Knowledge of Taxprep software.
  • Knowledge of financial planning.

Package

Salary: 55000.00-70000.00
