Product Owner


This is a Contract position in Sherbrooke, QC posted May 10, 2022.

Our Salesforce environment is at the heart of our growth strategy both in terms of our dealer portal and the internal processes supporting operations.  
As part of the Salesforce Squad, you will have strategic responsibility for prioritizing initiatives aimed at optimizing the dealer portal as well as the operations of internal users in the various business sectors.

You will work in various contexts (analysis, prototyping, projects, maintenance and support) with fellow managers, analysts, architects, product managers and developers to deliver solutions that deliver maximum value.  You will be responsible for the evolution of your product according to customer needs and market orientations.

Under the direction of the Dealer Technology Manager, your ecosystem of collaborators includes several business units such as planning, logistics, promotions, warranty, digital marketing as well as the BRP Technologies and information systems teams.

You will be the “guru” of our Salesforce platform and its 35,000 users.


  • Take full responsibility for your product, its performance and profitability
  • Establish and maintain the vision, mission statement and objectives of the Initiative SFDC and measure its results
  • Define project development priorities in accordance with business, operational and legal needs 
  • Collaborate with applicants, subject matter experts and analysts to understand needs, define their value and offer tailored solutions
  • Discuss the requirements and implementation strategies with colleagues from the Salesforce Centre of Expertise 
  • Motivate the implementation team by presenting clear, understandable and achievable goals  
  • Develop acceptance criteria against which the development team will evaluate its success
  • Track and evaluate feature progress and adoption by dealer network and internal users
  • Define and execute an internal and external training and communication strategy to ensure feature adoption


  • Daily standup meeting
  • Refurbish the product backlog
  • Chit-chatting with developers to govern their activity
  • Meeting with stakeholders
  • Laboring on the product backlog for the subsequent sprint
  • Systematizing second-string tasks
  • Team meeting to summarize testing results
  • Flag any glitches and announce the next plan of actions 


  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Approximately three years of relevant experience in business analysis and product management
  • Ability to manage teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly understand business needs and translate them into technology features
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to innovate and think outside the box
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud an asset
  • Notions of project management with agile methods an asset
  • Good knowledge of English; that of French an asset

Choice of home office: Montreal or Sherbrooke
Mix of remote and office work OR 100% remote, flexible schedule
