Strategic Coordinator and Communications


This is a Contract position in Sherbrooke, QC posted May 5, 2022.


We are looking for your innovative mind to be put to use on an array of projects and initiatives to help improve the Business Transformation team by joining our Global Services, Parts and Accessories sectors.

Your responsibilities as Coordinator of Strategy and Communications will be to ensure multiple cross-functional teams meet strategic planning-related timelines and deliverables effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing the overall strategy for communicating messages and working with leaders on key projects or strategic initiatives while collaborating with our departments.

You will support business governance, monitor and measure progress through outreach to the Directors and their managers and document the outcomes adapted to multiple layers of the organization.


  • Document, summarize, update and track the progress of initiatives or projects overall plan to ensure visibility in the different management meeting governances. 
  • Ensuring the timely submission of deliverables from a diverse array of multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Leading and coordinating projects for the Business Transformation team to provide support for our key customers. 
  • Performing analyses and deep-dives to improve the business’ efficiency and identify growth
  • Reviewing communications before distribution to ensure they are well written and aligned with key business priorities and overall corporate messaging.
  • Writing sensitive and high-priority documents with the support of the team as needed.
  • Working directly with upper management to produce executive messages, webcasts, internal newsletters and business meeting presentations.

 A day in the life of a coordinator of strategy and communications might look like this:

  • You start your day by looking at the list of projects and upcoming governances, and you plan on documenting the overall health of the plan. You identify a few gaps that would jeopardize the plan and you make sure to highlight them. 
  • Once secured, you assist in a few meetings where you’ll track the evolution of the initiatives, and present them during your team meeting later in the day.
  • Then, you shift your attention to structuring messages and presentations. Your expertise enables you to quickly synthesize each audience's key points and the objective. Your experience allows the identification of gaps in the plans that could drastically reduce expected benefits. In a brainstorming session with your colleagues, you guide them toward reviewing their plan before discussing it within their core team. 
  • Finally, you attend another project meeting as a representative of your sector and connect dots on upcoming projects and deliverables that your sector will need to support and prepare ahead of time.

  • A Bachelor's Degree with a major in communications or marketing.
  • 2-3 years of experience in project coordination and communication
  • Excellent skills in Google suite (Slides, Sheets and Docs) Powerpoint;
  • Fully fluent in English and French (oral and written)
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet and JIRA is Desirable
  • Known for your project management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments with different deadlines and levels of complexity

  • Effective in problem-solving and having the ability to seek out and analyze information collaboratively to propose solutions. 
  • Anticipating problems and trends, proposing solutions and ensuring they are applied.
  • Being at ease in liaising with different stakeholders to ensure project monitoring and efficiency.
