Talent Acquisition Advisor

This is a Contract position in Sherbrooke, QC posted January 17, 2023.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant who wants to contribute to the BRP story by attracting and onboarding the best talent to help us execute the Mission 25 plan. If you enjoy a challenge and can think outside the box to achieve your goal — read on!

  1. Are you enthusiastic about everything you do? So are we.
  2. Do you want to use the latest tools to attract and engage the best candidates?
  3. Do you want to help launch innovative projects (new careers section on the website, customer relationship management, employer image, and more!)?
  4. Are you motivated by a desire to create a meaningful impact and a sense of purpose?

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will contribute to our success by highlighting everything that makes BRP an incredible place to work. As a true ambassador of BRP culture, you will find dream candidates for hiring managers.

Under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will enjoy performing the following tasks for Engineering, Design & Innovation, Electric Vehicles and Operations:

  • Building a pool of candidates using various research methods and developing expertise in the industries you support. (In fact, what we mean by this is that you will meet with candidates to tell them the BRP story and outline all the opportunities available to them.)
  • Proactively communicating important market intelligence to client groups and HR business partners, and developing and executing customized recruitment strategies. (We expect you to be a true partner to the company and participate in discussions about future talent needs.)
  • Advising hiring managers on the full recruitment cycle and effective candidate assessment. (We like to keep things fairly informal, but we keep our business partners informed since this is a team sport.)
  • Conducting preliminary phone interviews, screening candidates, organizing and leading the interview process, and handling debriefings and job offer processes. (One-on-one discussions are still the best way to provide insight into our corporate culture.)
  • Participating in special projects and making improvements to our recruitment process as needed. (As an entrepreneur, BRP knows there’s always room for innovation, and we want you to have a say in how we do it.)
  • Being a BRP ambassador and promoting our amazing work environment. (Did we mention this already?)

  • Recruitment experience in the engineering field would be a strong asset.
  • A university degree in a related field.
  • Recent experience in talent acquisition for an agency would be a strong asset.
  • Passion for customer service and good business acumen.
  • The ability to build trust and strong relationships with recruitment managers.
  • A proven ability to use a variety of recruitment strategies, including proactive social media techniques (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), and secure candidate referrals.

Let’s start with a strong foundation — You want it, we have it:

  • Annual bonus: we work hard, and we know it. This yearly thank you is our way to fuel your dreams.
  • Generous paid time away: winding down is as important as creating the future of recreational products.
  • Pension plan: we want to make sure you’ll enjoy retirement; we’ve got you covered.
  • Collective saving opportunities: being part of BRP allows you to tap into the strength of our saving programs.
  • Industry leading healthcare: fully paid by BRP, this program is here for you, whatever happens, so you can focus on what matters.

What about some feel good extras:

  • Flexible work schedule: balance is key to innovation, and we want to make sure you are at the top of your game with a schedule that will work for you.
  • Summer schedule: time flies at BRP, so we hit pause to enjoy it.
  • Holiday season shutdown: between Christmas and New Year’s, we close our facilities and refill on good times.
  • Educational resources: you love what you do, and we get you resources to stay cutting-edge, so we all win together.
  • Discount on BRP products: what we build is amazing, freeing, revolutionary, and you’re first in line for the experience.
