This is a Full-time position in Sherbrooke, QC posted January 7, 2022.

Are you ready to join a dynamic team and help define BRP’s manufacturing strategies?

Working out of BRP’s centre of expertise and tasked with optimizing our global costs and operations, the logistics strategy team defines the inbound logistics standards and future strategies for our assembly plants.

The department is also in charge of leading logisticsrelated “early gates” product development activities and of supporting our manufacturing sites’ various teams (planning, transportation, handling, logistics engineering, etc.) on multiple tactical and strategic aspects.


To be a key agent of change in integrating new, innovative types of packaging for our vehicle components, across all product lines To meet a wide range of stimulating challenges with a position at the heart of BRP’s processing, innovation and continuous improvement To work closely with a number of multidisciplinary teams in delivering worldscale projects, and to put to use your packaging and project management skills and ability to influence multiple stakeholders YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze logistics data and costs to target and seize priority packaging opportunities Conduct feasibility studies related to packaging projects with a high potential for return on investment Select the best specific technology to protect and transport a given type of part Design prototypes for returnable packaging Coordinate the implementation of packaging projects, up to the final approval from internal partners Manage multiple project budgets in the returnable packaging portfolio Oversee technological and strategic developments by staying abreast of industry best practices Build and maintain a network of external partners to support the company’s mission Promote a spirit of continuous improvement to support our Lean Enterprise mission YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field A minimum of five years’ experience in packaging for vehicle components Experience driving major packaging cost optimization projects that resulted in measurable and significant gains Spoken and written bilingualism (English and French), advanced level (4/5) Solid knowledge of Excel (specifically for data processing) and PowerPoint Knowledge of modelling software Sense of initiative and excellence, autonomy, structure and rigour Solid project and budget management skills Propensity for projectbased work and strategic development and implementation Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities Keen strategic sense and strong persuasion skills Innovative and curious mind with an attention to detail Proven leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams Great proficiency at synthesizing and communicating complex information to a variety of audiences Willingness to travel on occasion.
