EV Project Lead


This is a Contract position in Sherbrooke, QC posted August 2, 2022.

As the EV Project Lead for Logistics, your main job will be to represent the Transportation, Logistics and Distribution Strategy department in the electrification of BRP’s line up over the next 5 years. As such, you will be responsible for:

EV Business Cases:

  • Act as the main contact for logistics in the business cases related to Battery and Vehicle Manufacturing Sites
  • Act as the main contact for logistics in the business cases related to the introduction of new EV products as well as the electrification of our current vehicle line-up;

EV Supply-Chain:

  • Participate in the definition and design of the EV supply-chain (procurement, transportation, warehousing, distribution, …);
  • Coordinate with the New Product Development teams for the implementation of EV products in their respective areas;
  • Coordinate with local logistics teams for the implementation of EV products in their respective manufacturing sites;

EV Regulation Compliance:

  • Act as the main contact for regulations surrounding the transportation, storage, handling and packaging of electrical components and vehicles, leveraging consulting firms if needed;
  • Identify the gaps between the regulations and our current operations and processes by translating complex regulations into actionable items for each team;
  • Define the new requirements for transporting, storing, handling, and packaging of our components and vehicles;
  • Ensure that design of our installations and operations are safe and compliant with the regulations;
  • Identify the new training requirements for the logistics teams and ensure that the training is carried-out;


  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field (ex: engineering, supply-chain management, logistics, …)
  • 5 years of experience in various roles throughout the supply-chain (materials planning, logistics & transportation, warehousing, logistics engineering, distribution, …)
  • Knowledge of the regulations concerning the logistics of dangerous goods such as lithium ion cells and batteries (UN3171, UN3481, DOT38.5) – considering an asset
  • Solid project management skills and strong communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills, ability to build effective relationships and excellent team player
  • Ability to build convincing business cases and compelling presentations
  • Sense of initiative and excellence, self-reliance, structure and rigour
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) – French is an asset
  • Willingness to travel on occasion

The position will be located in Sherbrooke, Qc and travel to Valcourt, Qc will be required on a weekly basis.
