Logistics Engineer Marine Group


This is a Contract position in Sherbrooke, QC posted November 23, 2022.

We are looking for a Logistics Engineer Marine Group who will report to the Team Lead Log EV and Marine Group, and who’ll be tasked with helping us to define BRP’s future manufacturing in the Marine Group. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization’s growth by playing a central role in our manufacturing business cases elaboration.

  • Collaborate with our local Marin Group sites (Alumacraft, Manitou) and project teams to define the best logistics strategies dedicated to production and support our growing plan.
  • Develop logistics strategies in line with the company’s vision and implement forward-thinking methods aimed at continuous improvement of logistics processes including the management of our packaging requirements.
  • Identify and analyze budgetary requirements of projects, prepare the necessary documentation to obtain them and follow through on project success.
  • Perform analysis aimed at optimizing costs related to the transportation of parts, packaging, inventory         management, logistics labor and our storage capacity.
  • Being on the pulse of technological and strategic industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain a network of external partners to introduce new concepts to BRP 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations/Logistics Management or other relevant field.
  • Minimum of (3) years of relevant and significant experience (product development, supply chain management, manufacturing operations).
  • Increased knowledge of Excel software in order to perform data processing.
  • Bilingual in English and French, both oral and written – advanced level (4/5).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and/or logistics (warehousing, transportation…)
  • Knowledge of modeling software – an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP (WM, MM, PP) – an asset.
  • Ability to work as a team in a consensual decision-making model with multidisciplinary and multicultural partners.
  • Excellent ability to analyze various complex parameters while being able to synthesize and popularize information to various audiences.
  • Recognized leadership skills with the ability to demonstrate exemplary work rigor.
  • Great autonomy in the execution of his tasks and tenacity in managing several files simultaneously and delivering them ”turnkey”.
  • Creative mindset with a propensity for innovation and challenging the status quo.
  • Ability to integrate new work tools in a context where these are constantly evolving.
  • Available to travel more than 6 times by year
