Logistics Engineer Special Projects


This is a Contract position in Sherbrooke, QC posted November 22, 2022.

  3. To work closely with various multi-disciplinary teams to determine the optimal strategies for the supply chain.
  4. You want to be at the very forefront of defining the logistics strategies of a growing multinational company and want to learn the best practises of the manufacturing industry in the area of logistics.


  • Collaborate with vehicle engineering, purchasing, manufacturing strategy and all other teams involved in product development to propose the best logistics strategies for production.
  • Develop logistics processes in line with the company's vision and implement innovative methods to continually improve logistics processes, including the management of our packaging requirements.
  • Identify and analyze project-related budget requirements (new product or new plants), preparing the necessary documentation to achieve this and ensure its follow-up. 
  • Conduct analysis to optimize costs related to parts transportation, packaging, inventory management, logistical labour and our warehousing capacity.
  • Maintain technological and strategic supervision by staying abreast of the industry's best practises.
  • Build and maintain a network of external partners to introduce new concepts at BRP.
  • Participate in the development of logistics layouts for new plants.


  • A Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations/logistics management, or another relevant field.
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of project management experience.
  • At least (5) years of relevant and significant experience (internal logistics, supply chain management).
  • Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written, at an advanced level (Spanish would be an asset).
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and project management software (Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • The ability to communicate and synthesize complex information to diverse audiences, and build presentations.
  • Sense of initiative and ability to challenge, autonomous, organized and meticulous.
  • An innovative and inquisitive mindset, strong attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
  • Knowledge of modelling software (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.) would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of SAP software (WM, MM, PP) would be an asset.
  • Available to travel.
